ABOUT US

We are a family run, agricultural small holding. We have owned and farmed the land for generations and are now expanding into the leisure and tourism sector to help local businesses and the local surrounding areas. We figured, since we loved our rural setting and unbeatable views, you would too! We still continue to work the land, make Hay, have livestock and help to preserve the natural beauty, natural habitats and wildlife that lives amongst us! Whilst opening up recently to all of you lovely campers, we have found a real passion for sharing our landscape and local area and we are hoping to share with you all some exciting developments in the future!

“What a fabulous place, from first arriving at the racecourse retreat we fell in love with it. The team that run it couldn’t do enough for us. All of them were chatty and friendly and very welcoming!

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend and they had arranged entertainment for the whole weekend from a great quiz, a cracking band and a film night all with access to a little onsite bar!

The toilets and showers are some on the best we have seen on a campsite, clean and always topped up with toilet roll, hand wash and paper towels!

The fire pits and bags of woods are a nice little touch and just adds to the camping experience!

The sandpit is big with plenty of room for children to play with ease, and we felt happy and that we could see our children safely from our tents!

It’s a fab location far away from things but close enough to have a little day out of you wanted too."
